Hadhrat Babajee rah was born in a place called Pir Sabaq, which is a village in Nowshera District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The village lies in the banks of river kabul and is one of the densely populated villages in District Nowshera. It is a kind of business hub as it is surrounded by several villages, and mostly the nearby villagers come for business, employment and trading.
Pir sabaq means the saint who is an example for all. The village is blessed with scholars and friends of Allah and they say that the beautiful scenery of this place makes an impact in one's heart and that the image of this place remains in one’s heart for a very long time. The pleasant environment of this village is surrounded by the expanses of river kabul from 2 sides. The tomb and minarets of the mosque can be seen from a distance, and when seen, brings joy to the heart Al-Hamdulillah.
Hadhrat Babajee rah lineage traces back to the 2nd khaleefa of Islam, Hadhrat Umar RA. Hadhrat Babajee rah was born in 1924. He was the beloved son of the famous scholar of that area, Allamah of Hadith, Hadhrat Maulana Nurulhaq saheb nawwarAllahu Marqadah. From generations after generations, this respected family is blessed with imparting religious knowledge, reformation of the self and propagation of deen.
Hadhrat Babajee rah did his intial education of naznm aur nasq, sarf and nahw, ilm of tajweed, khitab of fiqh and usool from his respected father Hadhrat Maulana Nurulhaq saheb nawwarAllahu Marqadah. During his student days, Hadhrat Babajee rah travelled to shabaz garhi, bychum, mardan district and jalaliya, chhachh region to quench his thirst for ilm and worked very hard to gain it. He was given special attention in knowledge from Hadhrat Khaleelullah Zando banda Rahmathullah alayhi, who was the khaleefa of Hadhrat Shahji Muhammed Sher saheb Rahmathullah alayhi from pilibhit shareef, india, a great saint of his time. For dars e hadith, Hadhrat Babajee rah went to gurghust and acquired ilm from Allamah of Hadith, Hadhrat Nasiruddin Gurghusthi Rahmathullah alayhi
Hadhrat Babajee rah, since he was a young student, was an embodiment in doing abundance of dhikr illahi, fear of Allah, following the sunnah and was greatly known for his humility and patience. After the completion of religious knowledge, Hadhrat Saheb undertook several long journeys within Pakistan and neighbouring countries to quench the thirst of acquiring batini knowledge through the suhbah of Awliya Allah . Whenever he would hear about a Allah wala residing in such and such place, Hadhrat Babajee rah would quickly leave everything and go there to attain spiritual benefits by staying in their company. Whilst travelling, He went to Kunar, Afghanistan where he met Hadhrat Kareemdad saheb Anzari baba jee Rahmathullah alayhi and felt a close connection from him. From Hadhrat Anzari baba jee, He was given khilafa in Silsila Qadriya, Silsila Aliya Naqshbandia and SIlsila Aliya Suhrawardia. Hadhrat Maulana Kareemdad saheb often prayed for Hadhrat Babajee rah with the following words; “May Allah swt make you the king of all Saints”. Those who have met Hadhrat Babajee rah have said that they have clearly seen the acceptance of this prayer made for him and was evident in his life and also those who are saheb e nisbat, could notice this.
After Hadhrat Inzari baba passed away, Hadhrat Babajee rah attached himself to Hadhrat Abdul Ghafoor Baba jee daryawi rahmat sharif Rahmathullah alayhi in attock and continued getting spiritual benefits by regularly visiting him. Hadhrat Baba jee daryawi saheb blessed Hadhrat Babajee rah with the mantle of khilalfa in all 4 salasils and blessed him and gave him permission in such a way that he said “whatever i got from my teachers whether in salasil, awrad and wazaif, and have been granted permission by them, i grant you permission to pass them all”. Apart from taking his students to depth of spirituality, Hadhrat Babajee rah was gifted by Allah Ta’ala in curing the spiritual diseases of his mureeds. Hadhrat Babajee rah was also a student of Tibb medicine and received a degree from Tibbiya College Lahore. Many incurable patients who were suffering, were cured by Allah Ta’ala through Hadhrat Babajee rah as he had a good understanding of both physical and spiritual diseases.
People have benefited greatly from Hadhrat Babajee rah in all the 4 blessed salasils and he did all his work for Allah Ta’ala alone and according to the sunnah of our beloved Rasool sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Hadhrat Babajee rah used to always oppose those people who used to say that shariat and tariqat are 2 different things which is not the case. Babjee used to say that “this is the slogan of those people who escape the laws of islam and follow their nafs.
The ancestors of Hadhrat Babajee rah have always been engaged in teaching and propagating religious knowledge. Hadhrat Babajee rah established Darul Uloom Faiz ul Quran in Pir Sabaq sharif to ensure that people in the locality preserve the deen of Allah and the sunnat of his beloved Rasool Sallallahu Alayhi wasallam. Several branches of this institution have been established within and outside the country where Hadhrat Babajee rah students, khalifas, followers and people connected to it are performing their duties with sincerity in gaining the pleasure of Allah swt.
